Grants Pass, Oregon has annual events throughout the entire Year.
In the spring we start off the season with our Amazing May Celebration. During this month long event we have an Antiques Street Faire, Balloon Festival, Boatnik, Art Show, Historic Tours, Flower Shows, Golf Tournament, Water Shows and much more. Boatnik, a four day event, includes a small town parade down the main street (6th Street), a carvinal, rides, whitewater river boat races, water shows and the list goes on. The Growers Market in Grants Pass, Oregon is open every Saturday morning from March 20 until November 20. It always has an abundance of locally grown fruits & vegetables and crafts made by local artisans. It opens at 9:00am and closes at 1:00pm. You will want to get there early and enjoy 'really fresh' produce. At the end of July the Grants Pass Towne Center Association presents 'Back to the 50's - Summer Celebration'. This year we had thousands of visitors show up for the 'Cruise' Down Sixth Street with over 500 restored vintage cars, a wine stroll, a car show at the park and two 50's style Street Dances in the Downtown Town Center. You don't want to miss this great event. Make your plans early next year, the wine stroll sold out before it started this year. We have 'Concerts in the Park' every Tuesday evening at Riverside Park. These concerts are a free community event where you can meet your friends and neighbors, enjoy a picnic dinner (bring your own), and listen to great music. We have Jazz, Blues, Rock and Roll, Folk Music, Gospel, Swing and Ragtime. Concerts start the end of June and go until September 7 this year. Check the Community Calendar for details. During October, Grants Pass gets ready for 'Heritage Days'. During this month long activity we have many events that focus on our unique western heritage. You will enjoy experiencing our cultural activities and historic tours. Keep an eye on our Community Calendar for details. |
